On an anthology of new American writing
In a time in which truth is scorned, ignored, and destroyed each day by those in power, artists should be maximally expressive and fearless. We need thinking people to say real shit. To that end, we are editing and publishing an anthology of writing called You May Now Fail To Destroy Me: American Writers on Their Most Dangerous Beliefs.
This anthology will feature writing by Gwen Hilton, Brad Neely, Gary Shipley, Sam Gaglio, Never Angeline Nørth, Jeff Jackson, John Trefry, Sean Kilpatrick, Wyatt Williams, Ander Monson, Eric Raymond, Mark Leidner, Charlene Elsby, Philip Christman, Jim Ruland, Garri Saganenko, Johannes Goransson, Ariana Reines, Kate Wagner, Blake Butler, and Ken Baumann—with more to come.
We are opening submissions to the public until July 15th. If you have a ≤3000 word piece in you that is urgent and doesn’t punch down, send it to us at failtodestroyme at gmail.
